- When are you due? August 6th.
- Are you finding out the sex early? After some discussion, we're both very excited to find out early, at our March appointment.
- How are you feeling? It's been pretty rough. We're both pretty optimistic that being sick has been a blessing. They say it's a sign that the baby's doing well and growing!
- Are your parents excited? Absolutely!
- Have names in mind? Well, Katie did marry a Copywriter!
- Are you going to tell your name choices? We're going to try and keep this a secret. But we 'might' get too excited and just share.
- What room will be the nursery? We're converting our office (across from our bedroom) into the baby's haven. Then our guest bedroom will become a combo guest room/office. Done.
- How's Travis been? He's been an amazing gentleman who's been taking such good care of me. He sure loves me, and his baby.

Heather's Birthday.
Terri, Jon, Heather, Jenna and Ally visited MN in January to celebrate Christmas and Heather's 13th Birthday! Events started on Friday and went straight through the weekend. Everyone was there - Mike, Cat, Caden, Sarah, Todd, Peggy, Mom and Dad. Since it was a blistering cold weekend (15 below zero), we filled it with fun activities including: playing games, opening presents, watching the kids play together and doing 'performances', sharing excellent fellowship, and sleep overs every night. Katie wasn't feeling so hot, so it was nice to be in a place where loved ones could help out when needed. It was a perfect and relaxing weekend with all.

Today, we had our first doc visit and it went really, really well. Since it's only 10 weeks along, we couldn't hear the heartbeat but we could see the heartbeat fluttering on the ultrasound! The little guy/girl was moving all around and dancing when it appeared on the monitor. Very cool to see, and so tiny-- about the size of a shrimp. Definitely going to be rambunctious like its Daddy. Mama Bird is doing well but still pretty queasy. Hopefully the tummy trouble will simmer down in the next couple of weeks.
