So you may be asking, "how did this all get started?!?" I have to admit I need to give all credit for the evening's success to Travis. I was quite skeptical of the night's theme, but I was proven wrong. As some of you know the Robertson's like to put the ASS in CLASS and have previously hosted bingo nights at the local Hopkins VFW. Since the smoking ban, it's been difficult to find a VFW in town that lets crazy cats like us into their bingo hall. Go figure. We continued to receive requests from friends who have previously enjoyed bingo evenings with us to "figure it out!" So that was the beginning of the end and Trav began dreaming up a new plan. We worked together to pull the evening off in true Robertson style - including a portable speaker system to callout numbers and home-made bingo card cheat sheets. So, by popular demand and with one successful evening, we decided to turn this night into an annual event! Mom, can you babysit Jr.?
Over Memorial Day Weekend, a group of friends (who weren't cabin-bound) came over to the house for a evening filled with debauchery. The nights festivities included B-I-N-G-O, fabulous prizes, great food, a little Wii and Wii Fit action, karaoke and some adult beverages. Thanks to all who came over!
